Riley County is reporting 60 new positive COVID-19 cases and 59 recoveries.
This brings the county’s active-case total to 145 and recoveries to 2,154.
The positive rate for the week of Oct. 25 came in at 9.7 percent, up from the previous week’s rate of 6.4 percent.
Ascension Via Christi is currently caring for five COVID-19 positive patients.
Riley County has identified the K-State Track and Field team as the location of the most recent outbreak.
Members of the team went to a Halloween party last weekend, which has so far led to 10 positive cases.
The Sept. 26 wedding outbreak has expired, leaving the county at four total outbreaks.
Riley County will begin offering free testing every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. through the end of the year, except for on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The testing-site locations have yet to be determined.
