MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for forgery, giving a worthless check and attempted theft in the 100 block of McCall Rd in Manhattan on August 25, 2020, at approximately 1:32 PM. Officers listed the American Legion Post 17 and US Bank as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect obtained a check and made an online deposit. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,500.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated intimidation of a victim and aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on August 25, 2020, at approximately 4:29 PM. Officers listed a 23-year-old female as the victim and an unknown male as the suspect when it was reported the male battered her, took her phone and would not allow her to leave. Officers filed a report for domestic criminal deprivation of property in Manhattan on August 25, 2020, at approximately 5:41 PM. Officers listed a 19-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 23-year-old male took her property during an argument. Jacob Tucker, 23 of Dwight was arrested in connection on the offenses of domestic criminal deprivation of property. Tucker was transported to the Pottawatomie County Jail and issued no bond causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
