Officers conducted a search warrant in the 3300 block of Woods Dr. on April 13, 2023, around 9:00 a.m. which led to the arrest of James Watkins, 41, of Manhattan. Watkins was arrested in connection to multiple occasions of domestic battery and threats to a 35-year-old woman known to him, violation of a protection order, and a March 28 altercation where it was reported he hit the woman, took her phone and would not let her leave for several hours. Watkins was also charged with interference with LEO due to his being uncooperative during the search warrant. Watkins was arrested for four counts of aggravated intimidation of a victim, two counts of interference with LEO, and one count each of intimidation of a victim, robbery, criminal deprivation of property, criminal restraint, domestic battery, criminal threat, aggravated battery, and violation of a protection order. Watkins remains confined in the Riley County Jai with a total bond of $86,000.
Nikolas Rawhouser, 33, of Manhattan was arrested on April 13, 2023, around 8:00 p.m. on his Riley County District Court and Manhattan Municipal Court warrants, each for failure to appear. The Manhattan Municipal Court warrant stems from Rawhouser’s failure to appear in court for his driving under the influence arrest on July 23, 2021, in Manhattan, and the Riley County District Court warrant stems from his failure to appear in court for distribution of meth and officers found meth in his vehicle during a traffic stop on July 23, 2022, also in Manhattan. Rawhouser remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $21,000.
