The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.  Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.  Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for theft and driving while suspended in the 2300 block of Stagg Hill Rd. in Manhattan on February 1, 2021, at approximately 2:55 p.m. Officers listed Briggs Motor Company Inc. as the victim when it was reported a 38-year-old female stole a black 2021 Nissan Rogue. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $30,570.00. Tiffany Fernandez, 38, of Manhattan was arrested in connection on the offenses of theft and driving while suspended and is confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $3,500.00.
