MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Elgin Bennett, 18, of Fayetteville, Ga., turned himself into RCPD officers around 3:00 p.m. on February 16, 2023, for his Riley County District Court warrant for rape and aggravated sexual battery. The original incident is a Kansas State University Police Department case. Bennett was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
Arron Flower, 40, of Manhattan was arrested around 8:30 a.m. on February 16, 2023, for his Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated assault, criminal threat, and disorderly conduct in connection to a December 11, 2022, incident where it was reported Flower approached a 44-year-old man and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t give him money. Flower remains confined with a total bond of $2,000.
