Officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 400 block of 10th St. in Ogden on January 5, 2024, around 8:38 AM.  Maplewind Community was listed as the victim when it was reported a home was broken into causing damage to the structure. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $790. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.  Katrina Fair, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 3000 block of Kimball Avenue on January 5, 2024, around 6:09 PM. Fair was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for theft. Fair was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

Mark Livengood, 55, of Lawrence was arrested while in the 400 block of Fort Riley Boulevard in Manhattan on January 6, 2024, around 1:10 AM. Livengood was arrested on a Riely County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for violating a protection order. Livengood was issued no bond and was confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for writing a worthless check/theft of services in the 1200 block of Garibay Lane in Manhattan on January 6, 2024, around 7:42 PM. Officers listed Garibay Lawn Services LLC as the victim when it was reported a known suspect wrote bad checks for services knowingly. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $710.

Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on January 7, 2024. Officers listed a 23-year-old female as the victim. Marvin Gatewood Jr., 24, of Junction City was arrested in connection to a probable cause offense of aggravated domestic battery. Gatewood Jr. was issued a total bond of $10,000 and was confined at the time of this report. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for recovery of a stolen vehicle on January 6, 2024, around 4:57 PM in the 4400 block of Riverpond Road in Manhattan when it was reported a known male suspect test-drove a 2002 Jeep Wrangler and never returned it. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the vehicle in question was reported as stolen. Barry Sullivan, 62, of Topeka was arrested in connection on a probable cause offense of possession of stolen property, use/possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, and possession of a stimulant. He was issued a total bond of $8,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for domestic battery X2 and domestic criminal damage to property in Manhattan on January 7, 2024, at approximately 9:08 PM.  Officers listed a 17-year-old male as the victim when he reported a known female suspect damaged his silver Pontiac G6.  The estimated total loss is not currently listed but is expected to be under $1,000. Yasmin Al Shaibani was arrested in connection on a probable cause offense of criminal damage to property and domestic violence battery x2.   Al Shaibani was issued a total bond of $6,000 and was confined at the time of this report.  Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.

Officers responded to an injury accident in the 1800 block of Garden Way in Manhattan on January 8, 2024, at approximately 12:30 AM.  When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 2021 white Ford F150 driven by Cody Adams, 30, of Rose Hill, Kansas had been involved in an accident involving a parked 2004 white Chevy Silverado owned by Steven Mattia, 25, of Manhattan. Adams was transported to Via Christi for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.  Adams was arrested on a probable cause offense of driving under the influence and operating a car without a required device.

Officers filed a report of deprivation of property on January 8, 2024, in the 1100 block of Garden Way, Manhattan, Kansas at approximately 2:24 AM. Officers listed a 47-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 52-year-old male known to her left in the victim’s 2021 gray Hyundai Kona.
