Officers filed a report for theft in the 8200 block of South Port Drive in Manhattan on January 16, 2024 around 3:34 PM. Officers listed a 72-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his wallet he had accidentally left behind on a counter. Eli Smith, 20, of St. George, Kansas was arrested while in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road in Manhattan on January 16, 2024, around 5:34 PM. Smith was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charge was for battery x2 and reckless driving. Smith was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Grace Dutch, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 1100 block of Moro Street on January 16, 2024, around 7:09 AM. Dutch was arrested on probable cause offenses of aggravated battery and DUI. Dutch was issued a total bond of $15,000 and was not confined at the time of this report.
Curtis Colley, Jr., 39, of Grandview Plaza, Kansas was arrested while in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road in Manhattan on January 16, 2024, around 11:43 AM. Colley was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture/plant/cultivate a controlled substance, distribution of opiate/opium/narcotic/stimulant/heroin, and possession. Colley was issued a total bond of $10,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
