One of the highlights shared during the virtual workshops was Farm Bureau’s initiative in Riley County. Farm Bureau’s Healthy Food Program is partnering with Riley County Women Infant and Children, Pawnee Mental Health Adult Rehab, KSU Lafene Student Health Center and MHK Farmers Market. The goal is to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among under-served, low income and high food insecurity risk residents.
