Green Day is currently back in the studio working on their 12th studio album.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong didn’t give an exact release date but the band hopes to have the album out in the fall. In January, Armstrong tweeted a photo of himself in the studio and said he wanted to end the phrase, pop-punk.
2016 marks the band’s 30th anniversary and they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last year.
Green Day released a trilogy of new albums in 2012…”!Uno!”, “!Dos!” and “!Tre!”.
