Manhattan city buildings including City Hall, Municipal Court, the Flint Hills Discovery Center, the Douglass Centers and the T. Russel Reitz Animal Shelter are all closed Monday due to inclement weather.

City services will still be available online and over the phone at 785-587-2480. This extends to Municipal Court, which will continue its operations remotely and by phone at 785-587-2450. Additional details can be found at cityofmhk.com.

For details about flight information out of Manhattan Regional Airport, residents are encouraged to visit the American Airlines website.

The City says operations staff, including roads and other public works crews, park crews, and the Manhattan Fire Department will report to work as scheduled. Office employees will work remotely.
