City Manager Ron Fehr briefed the Manhattan City Commission Tuesday on the increasing need to address trash disposal and clean up in Aggieville.
Fehr says a current proposal, which will be discussed further at next week’s commission meeting, involves creating a consolidated trash enclosure on Anderson Avenue south of Triangle Park.

Deputy City Manager Jason Hilgers says this comprehensive discussion and implementation of a solution has to happen sooner rather than later.

Hilgers says this proposed solution is temporary, lasting only 5 years, and is meant to give the City a better understanding of what would work best for the district.
The board will discuss the proposal further during their May 16th meeting.
