AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, is working with specialists to deal with the problem of “noise pollution” drifting outside the stadium before Metallica performs there the night before Super Bowl 50.
Apparently, Beyonce and Jay Z’s tour stop at AT&T Park drew a number of complaints. Locals said they could hear music from the stadium as far as three miles away. AC/DC’s concert in September only got 12 calls which was a substantial improvement.
The vice president of Giants Enterprises said, “We’ve been working with acoustic engineers. We don’t anticipate any problems with Metallica.”
Cage The Elephant will be the opening act for the show.
