A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday on a Riley County District Court warrant charging him with rape.
Riley County Police say 24-year-old Chase Newberry remains jailed on a single count of rape and two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy. Bond is set at $50,000.
Online court records show the incident is alleged from a March 2022 incident involving a 20-year-old female victim. Due to the nature of the crime, no further information will be released.
