PBS animated a 1996 Johnny Cash interview where he spoke candidly about rock musicians, God, drugs, dressing in black and Elvis Presley. It’s part of their Blank on Blank series.
When talking about his addiction to painkillers, Cash said: “It’s like an alcoholic. He can’t drink, and I can’t take painkillers. I’m not very brave. For five years I didn’t try to take them. I fought it. I have a total of 34 surgical procedures on my left jaw. Every doctor I’ve been to knows what to do next and to relieve me of pain. I don’t believe any of them. I’m handling it. It’s my pain. I’m not being brave either. I’m not brave at all. After what I’ve been through, I just know how to handle it.”

A Massachusetts dad used Vine to to showcase his 4-year-old daughter’s Saturday morning antics…. for three months.
Bottlerocket, whose real name is Tony, recently combined all of the Vines into one to make a video that has since gone viral – with over 540,000 views.
The videos show him staring into the camera as his youngest daughter jumps, leaps and boogies in the background- sometimes smacking him in the head with dolls or other toys.
Tony started making the videos when his young daughters started taking dance classes on Saturdays. It’s all in good fun and he said he’s not at all annoyed by his youngest daughter.
While most get the humor behind his videos, he has been hit with a few negative comments about his parenting with one comment telling him to “hang out with his kid” instead of staying on the computer.
